Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when this verse was revealed « لَنتَنَالُواالْبِرَّحَتَّىٰتُنفِقُوامِمَّاتُحِبُّونَ »[ سورة آل عمران : 92 ] "You will never attain righteousness until you spend from that which you love," and this statement « مَّنذَاالَّذِييُقْرِضُاللَّهَقَرْضًاحَسَنًا »[ سورة البقرة : 245 ] "Who is it that will lend Allah a goodly loan," Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), my garden located at such-and-such place is charity for Allah, and if I had the ability to keep it secret, I would not have announced it." So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Distribute it among your needy close relatives."
