Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that we used to give one sa' of dates, or one sa' of barley, or one sa' of raisins, or one sa' of cheese, or one sa' of Hijazi barley as Sadaqat al-Fitr.
Provided that Imam Ibn ‘Uyaynah and the narrators below him have preserved this narration, or it is proven authentic in the narration of Sayyiduna Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), otherwise the narration of Musa bin ‘Uqbah will suffice, insha’Allah.
