جماع أبواب صدقة الفطر فى رمضانChapters on Zakat al-Fitr in Ramadan
(111) بَابُ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ صَدَقَةِ الْفِطْرِ عَنِ الْمَمْلُوكِ وَاجِبٌ عَلَى مَالِكِهِ، لَا عَلَى الْمَمْلُوكِ كَمَا تَوَهَّمَ بَعْضُ النَّاسِ.
111 Subchapter: Zakat al-fitr for slaves is due from their owner, not the slave
Hadith 2396
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ ، عَنْ عِرَاكِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَيْسَ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ فِي فَرَسِهِ ، وَلا فِي عَبْدِهِ ، وَلا وَلِيدَتِهِ صَدَقَةٌ ، إِلا صَدَقَةُ الْفِطْرِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : خَبَرُ مَخْرَمَةَ خَرَّجْتُهُ فِي غَيْرِ هَذَا الْبَابِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "No charity is obligatory upon a Muslim for his horse, slave, or slave-girl except for Sadaqat al-Fitr (charity of breaking the fast); (he will pay Sadaqat al-Fitr on behalf of his slave and slave-girl)." Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that the narration of Janab Makhramah has been mentioned in another chapter besides this chapter.
