Hadith 2395
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ ، وَزِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ، وَمُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ الزَّعْفَرَانِيِّ ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، قَالَ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ : ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ , قَالَ أَحْمَدُ ، وَزِيَادٌ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، وَقَالَ مُؤَمَّلٌ ، وَالزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ : عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " فَرَضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَدَقَةَ رَمَضَانَ عَلَى الذَّكَرِ وَالأُنْثَى ، وَالْحُرِّ وَالْمَمْلُوكِ ، صَاعَ تَمْرٍ أَوْ صَاعَ شَعِيرٍ " ، قَالَ : فَعَدَلَ النَّاسُ نِصْفَ صَاعِ بُرٍّ ، لَمْ يَقُلْ أَحْمَدُ ، وَمُؤَمَّلٌ بَعْدُ ، زَادَ زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ نَافِعٌ : كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يُعْطِي التَّمْرَ ، إِلا عَامًا وَاحِدًا أَعْوَزَ مِنَ التَّمْرِ ، فَأَعْطَى الشَّعِيرَ
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) made it obligatory to give one sa’ of dates or one sa’ of barley as charity of Ramadan on every man, woman, free person, and slave. Then people considered half a sa’ of wheat to be equivalent to it. The following statement is not present in the narration of Ahmad and Mu’ammal. However, in the narration of Ziyad bin Ayyub, the following addition is present: He says that Imam Nafi’ (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to give the charity of Fitr from dates, except for one year when dates became scarce, so he gave the charity of Fitr from barley.
