Hadith 2380
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent me to collect the zakat of the tribe of Juhainah. The last person I came to lived very close to Madinah Munawwarah. He gathered his animals for me. Then the rest of the hadith is narrated like the hadith of Abdullah bin Abi Bakr, up to these words, and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed for blessings for that person. 'Ammarah says that Ibn 'Uqbah sent me. Yahya says, meaning Ibn al-Walid bin 'Uqbah sent (me) during the rule of Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) to collect the zakat of (the same tribe), so the zakat of that person's wealth amounted to thirty Hiqqah, along with which there was also a male camel. His total animals were one thousand five hundred camels.
Hadith 2381
In the narration of Abdullah bin Abi Awfa, it is mentioned that a man from his people brought the zakat to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This hadith and the narration of Sayyiduna Ikrash bin Dhu’ayb (may Allah be pleased with him) are related to this issue.
