Hadith 2373
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) sent some gold from Yemen to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), which had not yet been separated from its dust (it was just as it was found from the mine). So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) distributed that gold among four individuals (they are): Aqra' bin Habis al-Hanzali, 'Uyainah bin Hisn al-Muradi, Alqamah bin 'Alathah al-Ja'fari, and 'Amir bin Tufail or Zayd al-Ta'i. (The narrator is unsure which of these two was the fourth.) This matter was disliked by some of your Ansari and other Companions. When this was reported to you, you said: "Do you not consider me trustworthy, even though I am the trustee of the Lord of the heavens? Revelation from the Lord of the heavens comes to me morning and evening."
