(87) بَابُ فَرْضِ الْإِمَامِ لِلْعَامِلِ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ رِزْقًا مَعْلُومًا
87| Chapter on the imam assigning a fixed wage to the zakat worker
Hadith 2369
حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَخْزَمَ الطَّائِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنِ اسْتَعْمَلْنَاهُ عَلَى عَمَلٍ فَرَزَقْنَاهُ رِزْقًا ، فَمَا أَخَذَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَهُوَ غُلُولٌ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If we appoint someone to a task and also give him his salary, then whatever wealth he takes after that will be considered as embezzlement."
