Hadith 2310
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ إِدْرِيسَ الأَوْدِيَّ ، يَذْكُرُ وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ الْمُخَرِّمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنْ إِدْرِيسَ الأَوْدِيِّ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، يَرْفَعُهُ قَالَ : " لَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسَةِ أَوْسَاقٍ زَكَاةٌ " ، وَالْوَسْقُ : سِتُّونَ مَخْتُومًا ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : يُرِيدُ الْمَخْتُومُ ، الصَّاعُ ، وَلا خِلافَ بَيْنَ الْعُلَمَاءِ أَنَّ الْوَسْقَ سِتُّونَ صَاعًا ، وَقَدْ بَيَّنْتُ مَبْلَغَ الصَّاعِ فِي كِتَابِ الأَيْمَانِ وَالنُّذُورِ فِي ذِكْرِ كَفَّارَةِ الْيَمِينِ
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri رضي الله عنه narrates in a marfu' form that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "There is no zakat on less than five wasq, and one wasq is sixty sa’." Imam Abu Bakr رحمه الله says that by "makhtoom" is meant "sa’." There is no difference of opinion among the scholars regarding this, that one wasq is sixty sa’. And I have already mentioned the measure of a sa’ in the Book of Faith and Vows, in the chapter regarding the expiation of oaths.
وَلَا خِلَافَ بَيْنَ الْعُلَمَاءِ فِي مَبْلَغِهِ عَلَى مَا رُوِيَ فِي هَذَا الْخَبَرِ إِلَّا أَنَّ أَبَا الْبَخْتَرِيِّ لَا أَحْسَبُهُ سَمِعَ مِنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ
And there is no disagreement among the scholars regarding its amount as narrated in this report, except that Abu al-Bakhtari—I do not think he heard from Abu Sa'id.
Hadith 2310
وَلَا خِلَافَ بَيْنَ الْعُلَمَاءِ فِي مَبْلَغِهِ عَلَى مَا رُوِيَ فِي هَذَا الْخَبَرِ إِلَّا أَنَّ أَبَا الْبَخْتَرِيِّ لَا أَحْسَبُهُ سَمِعَ مِنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ
And there is no disagreement among the scholars regarding its amount as narrated in this report, except that Abu al-Bakhtari—I do not think he heard from Abu Sa'id.
