Hadith 2304
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no zakat on a Muslim's grapes and grain if they are less than five wasq."
Hadith 2305
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir and Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said. Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that this narration was not heard by Amr bin Dinar from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him).
Hadith 2306
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that "There is no zakat on grain less than five wasq, nor is there zakat on dates less than five wasq." Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that hulw refers to dates, and this is the correct meaning. The narration of Muhammad bin Muslim Tai is not correct, and Ibn Jurayj (may Allah have mercy on him) was much better at memorizing and preserving hadith than narrators like Muhammad bin Muslim.
