(17) بَابُ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ الصَّدَقَةَ لَا تَجِبُ " فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسٍ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ وَلَا فِيمَا دُونَ الْأَرْبَعِينَ مِنَ الْغَنَمِ،
17| Chapter on the evidence that zakat is not due on less than five camels or less than forty sheep
Hadith 2263
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ . ح حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هُوَ ابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، وَمَالِكٌ ، وَشُعْبَةُ ، كُلُّ هَؤُلاءِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " لَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسِ ذَوْدٍ صَدَقَةٌ ، وَلَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسَةِ أَوْسُقٍ صَدَقَةٌ " ، مَعَانِي أَحَادِيثِهِمْ سَوَاءٌ ، وَهَذَا حَدِيثُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بَشَّارٍ ، وَفِي حَدِيثِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ : " لَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ الأَرْبَعِينَ مِنَ الْغَنَمِ شَيْءٌ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no charity (zakat) on less than five camels, and there is no charity on less than five wasqs of grain." The meaning of all the narrations from the narrators is the same, and this hadith is from Muhammad bin Bashar. And in the narration of Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), the words are: "There is no zakat on less than forty goats."
