(3) بَابُ الْأَمْرِ بِقِتَالِ مَانِعِ الزَّكَاةِ؛

2 (4) بَابُ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ دَمَ الْمَرْءِ وَمَالَهَ إِنَّمَا يَحْرُمَانِ بَعْدَ الشَّهَادَةِ بِإِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ إِذَا وَجَبَتْ،4| Chapter on the evidence that a person’s blood and wealth are protected only after testifying, establishing prayer, and giving zakat when due
3 (5) بَابُ ذِكْرِ إِدْخَالِ مَانِعِ الزَّكَاةِ النَّارَ مَعَ أَوَائِلِ مَنْ يَدْخُلُهَا، بِاللَّهِ نَتَعَوَّذُ مِنَ النَّارِ5| Chapter on those who withhold zakat being among the first to enter the Fire—may Allah protect us
4 (6) بَابُ ذِكْرِ لَعْنِ لَاوِي الصَّدَقَةِ الْمُمْتَنِعِ مِنْ أَدَائِهَا6| Chapter on the curse upon the collector of charity who refuses to give it
5 (7) بَابُ صِفَاتِ أَلْوَانِ عِقَابِ مَانِعِ الزَّكَاةِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، قَبْلَ الْفَصْلِ بَيْنَ الْخَلْقِ، نَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِهِ7| Chapter on the types of punishment for those who withhold zakat on the Day of Judgment before judgment among creation—may Allah protect us

7 (9) بَابُ ذِكْرِ أَخْبَارٍ رُوِيَتْ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ- صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْكَنْزِ مُجْمَلَةً غَيْرَ مُفَسَّرَةٍ9| Chapter on reports from the Prophet regarding hoarding, mentioned in general terms

10 (12) بَابُ ذِكْرِ دَلِيلٍ آخَرَ عَلَى أَنَّ الْوَعِيدَ لِلْمُكْتَنِزِ هُوَ لِمَانِعِ الزَّكَاةِ دُونَ مَنْ يُؤَدِّيهَا12| Chapter on further evidence that the warning is for those who withhold zakat, not those who pay it
11 (13) بَابُ بَيْعَةِ الْإِمَامِ النَّاسَ عَلَى إِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ13| Chapter on the imam taking a pledge from people to give zakat
12 (14) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الْبَيَانِ أَنَّ فَرْضَ الزَّكَاةِ كَانَ قَبْلَ الْهِجْرَةِ إِلَى أَرْضِ الْحَبَشَةِ، إِذِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُقِيمٌ بِمَكَّةَ قَبْلَ هِجْرَتِهِ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ.14| Chapter clarifying that zakat was made obligatory before the migration to Abyssinia, while the Prophet was still in Makkah
