Hadith 2220
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that we observed i'tikaf with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) during the middle ten days of Ramadan. Then, when you reached the morning of the twentieth day and we returned, you slept. In your dream, the Night of Qadr was shown to you. Then it was made to be forgotten by you. Then, when evening came, you sat on the pulpit and addressed the people. Then the complete hadith was narrated. He said that whoever observed i'tikaf with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) should return to his place of i'tikaf.
