Hadith 2198
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) came out of his house to inform about the Night of Qadr, when two Muslim men were arguing. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, I came out to inform you about the Night of Qadr, but so-and-so and so-and-so were arguing, so the knowledge of the Night of Qadr was taken away, and perhaps this is better for you. Therefore, seek it in the ninth, seventh, and fifth nights." Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that the meaning of "fa rufi'at" is that the knowledge and recognition of that night has been taken away from me.
