Hadith 2187
Sayyiduna Zar bin Jish رحمه الله narrates that if it were not for the fear of your foolish people, I would have placed my hands on my ears and called out loudly that Laylat al-Qadr is on the twenty-seventh night. This is the report of the one who did not lie to me, and he reported from the one who did not speak falsely, meaning that Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b رضي الله عنه narrated from the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم. This is the narration of Junab Bundar. And Junab Abu Musa says that I heard Hazrat Zar bin Jish رحمه الله. And he said that Laylat al-Qadr is in the last ten nights of Ramadan, in the last seven nights. This is the report of the one who did not lie to me and he narrated from the one who did not speak falsely, and he did not say that Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b رضي الله عنه narrated from the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم.
Hadith 2188
Sayyiduna Abi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I know the Night of Qadr very well. It is the same night regarding which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded us. It is the twenty-seventh night.
