Hadith 2150
Hazrat Mutarrif narrates from his father that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever fasted for his entire life, he neither fasted nor left fasting — or he neither fasted nor left fasting."
Hadith 2151
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that it was said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that a certain person always fasts during the day. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He neither fasted nor left off fasting." Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that the narration about the prohibition of prayer from Sayyiduna Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) from Hazrat Abu’l-‘Aliyah is well-known, but the narration about the prohibition of fasting from his chain is rare (not well-known).
