Hadith 2146
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that a few beloved people testified to me, among whom Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was also included, and to me, Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) is the most beloved. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no prayer after the morning prayer until the sun rises, and there is no prayer after the Asr prayer until the sun sets. And he forbade fasting on two days, the day of Eid al-Fitr and the day of Eid al-Adha." Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated this tradition from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) through Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him).
