Hadith 1989
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ بِشْرِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ السُّلَمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى ، نا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا نَسِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ فَأَكَلَ وَشَرِبَ فَلْيُتِمَّ صَوْمَهُ ، فَإِنَّمَا أَطْعَمَهُ اللَّهُ وَسَقَاهُ "
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any one of you forgets while he is fasting and eats or drinks something, then he should complete his fast, for it is Allah Almighty who has fed him and given him drink."
