Hadith 1938
حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ ، وَيَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ ، قَالُوا : نا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ سَيْفٍ ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي رُهْمٍ ، عَنِ الْعِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدْعُو رَجُلا إِلَى السَّحُورِ , فَقَالَ : " هَلُمَّ إِلَى الْغَدَاءِ الْمُبَارَكِ " . وَقَالَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ , وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَدْعُو إِلَى السَّحُورِ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ ، فَقَالَ : " هَلُمَّ إِلَى الْغَدَاءِ الْمُبَارَكِ " . وَزَادَا ثُمَّ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ عَلِّمْ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِسَابَ ، وَقِهِ الْعَذَابَ " . وَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ : عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ , وَقَالَ : " هَلُمَّ إِلَى الْغَدَاءِ الْمُبَارَكِ "
Sayyiduna ‘Irbad bin Sariyah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) inviting a man to eat suhoor. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Come, eat the blessed morning meal.” In the narration of Junab al-Dawraqi and ‘Abdullah bin Hashim, it is stated that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was inviting to the suhoor meal in the month of Ramadan, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Come, eat the blessed morning meal.” Both of them added in their respective narrations: Then I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: “O Allah, teach Mu‘awiyah the Qur’an and accounting, and save him from punishment.” Junab ‘Abdullah bin Hashim narrates from Sayyiduna Mu‘awiyah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Come, eat the blessed morning meal.”
