Hadith 1927
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحْرِزٍ أَصْلُهُ بَغْدَادِيٌّ انْتَقَلَ إِلَى فُسْطَاطٍ ، نا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْفَجْرُ فَجْرَانِ : فَأَمَّا الأَوَّلُ فَإِنَّهُ لا يُحَرِّمُ الطَّعَامَ , وَلا يُحِلُّ الصَّلاةَ , وَأَمَّا الثَّانِي فَإِنَّهُ يُحَرِّمُ الطَّعَامَ , وَيُحِلُّ الصَّلاةَ " . قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : هَذَا لَمْ يَرْوِهِ أَحَدٌ عَنْ أَبِي أَحْمَدَ إِلا ابْنُ مُحْرِزٍ هَذَا
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are two types of Fajr. The first Fajr does not make eating unlawful nor does it make the Fajr prayer permissible. Whereas the second Fajr makes eating unlawful and makes the prayer permissible." Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that only Ibn Mihriz narrates this narration from Abu Ahmad.
