Hadith 1884
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ تَمِيمٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَظَلَّكُمْ شَهْرُكُمْ هَذَا بِمَحْلُوفِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، مَا مَرَّ بِالْمُسْلِمِينَ شَهْرٌ خَيْرٌ لَهُمْ مِنْهُ ، وَلا مَرَّ بِالْمُنَافِقِينَ شَهْرٌ شَرٌّ لَهُمْ مِنْهُ بِمَحْلُوفِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، لَيَكْتُبُ أَجْرَهُ وَنَوَافِلَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُدْخِلَهُ ، وَيَكْتُبُ إِصْرارَهُ وَشَقَاءَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُدْخِلَهُ ، وَذَلِكَ أَنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ يُعِدُّ فِيهِ الْقُوَّةَ مِنَ النَّفَقَةِ لِلْعِبَادَةِ ، وَيَعُدُّ فِيهِ الْمُنَافِقُ اتِّبَاعَ غَفَلاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ، وَاتِّبَاعَ عَوْرَاتِهِمْ ، فَغُنْمٌ يَغْنَمُهُ الْمُؤْمِنُ " . هَذَا حَدِيثُ يَحْيَى . وَقَالَ بُنْدَارٌ : " فَهُوَ غُنْمٌ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ، يَغْتَنِمُهُ الْفَاجِرُ " . عَمْرُو بْنُ تَمِيمٍ هَذَا يُقَالُ لَهُ : مَوْلَى بَنِي رُمَّانَةَ مَدَنِيٌّ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This blessed month of yours has come. By the oath of the Messenger of Allah, no month better than this passes by the Muslims, and no month worse than this passes by the hypocrites. By the oath of the Messenger of Allah, before this month begins, the reward and voluntary deeds of the (believer) are written, and the persistence in sins and wretchedness of the (hypocrite) are written before the beginning of this month. And this is because the believer gathers financial strength for worship in this month, and the hypocrite prepares to seek out the heedlessness and shortcomings of the believers. So this month is a gain from which the believer benefits." This is the narration of Yahya, and in the narration of Bundar it is: "So it is a gain for the believers from which the wicked person benefits."
