Hadith 1875
نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ ، وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ قَزْعَةَ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ ، قَالَ : " كُنَّا نَجْمَعُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ نَرْجِعُ فَنَتَغَدَّى وَنَقِيلُ "
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d Sa’idi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that we used to perform Jumu’ah with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), then we would return and eat our midday meal and rest.
Hadith 1876
نا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ : " مَا كُنَّا نَتَغَدَّى وَلا نَقِيلُ إِلا بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ "
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that we used to eat lunch and rest only on the day of Jumu’ah.
Hadith 1877
نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : " كُنَّا نَجْمَعُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ نَرْجِعُ فَنَقِيلُ "
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that we used to perform Jumu'ah with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), then return and take a midday rest.
