Hadith 1873
نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيَّ ، وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، كِلاهُمَا عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " صَلُّوا بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ " . وَقَالَ عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ : إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يُصَلُّوا بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ أَرْبَعًا "
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Pray four rak‘ahs after the Friday prayer." And in the narration of ‘Abd al-Jabbar, it is mentioned that the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) commanded him to perform four rak‘ahs after the Friday prayer.
