It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the people of Quba used to perform Jumu'ah (Friday prayer) with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) in the Prophet's Mosque. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) states that the Ansar used to attend Jumu'ah with Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him). Then, after finishing Jumu'ah, due to the intense heat and having performed the prayer in severe heat, they would take a nap (qailulah) with him, and other people would do the same.
