Hadith 1842
نا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرَمِيُّ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ أَبِي حَفْصَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو خَلْدَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، وَنَادَاهُ يَزِيدُ الضَّبِّيُّ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فِي زَمَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ ، فَقَالَ : يَا أَبَا حَمْزَةَ ، قَدْ شَهِدْتَ الصَّلاةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَشَهِدْتَ الصَّلاةَ مَعَنَا ، فَكَيْفَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي ؟ قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اشْتَدَّ الْبَرْدُ بَكَّرَ بِالصَّلاةِ ، وَإِذَا اشْتَدَّ الْحَرُّ ، أَبْرَدَ بِالصَّلاةِ "
Abu Khulda narrates that I heard Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) when, during the rule of Hajjaj bin Yusuf, on a Friday, Yazid al-Dhubbi called out to him and said, "O Abu Hamzah, you have performed prayers with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and you have also performed the Friday prayer with us. So tell us, how did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) perform the prayer?" He replied, "When the cold was severe, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform the prayer early, and when the heat was severe, he would delay the prayer until it became cooler."
