Hadith 1817
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ الْقَطَوَانِيُّ ، نا مُعَاوِيَةُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ هِشَامٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ فِرَاسٍ ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا تَطَهَّرَ الرَّجُلُ فَأَحْسَنَ الطُّهُورَ ، ثُمَّ أَتَى الْجُمُعَةَ ، فَلَمْ يَلْغُ ، وَلَمْ يَجْهَلْ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ الإِمَامُ ، كَانَتْ كَفَّارَةً لِمَا بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ الْجُمُعَةِ "
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a Muslim man performs ablution well and comes for Jumu'ah, then does not engage in any idle act nor any act of ignorance until the Imam finishes the prayer, then this deed will be an expiation for the sins committed between this Jumu'ah and the next."
