Hadith 1812
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، نا يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَجْلانَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ وَدِيعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنِ اغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَأَحْسَنَ الْغُسْلَ أَوْ تَطَهَّرَ فَأَحْسَنَ الطُّهُورَ ، فَلَبِسَ مِنْ خَيْرِ ثِيَابِهِ , وَمَسَّ مَا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ طِيبًا , أَوْ دُهْنِ أَهْلِهِ , وَلَمْ يُفَرِّقْ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ ، إِلا غُفِرَ لَهُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ الأُخْرَى " . قَالَ بُنْدَارٌ : أَحْفَظُهُ مِنْ فِيهِ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ . قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : لا أَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا تَابَعَ بُنْدَارًا فِي هَذَا , وَالْجَوَادُ قَدْ يَفْتُرُ فِي بَعْضِ الأَوْقَاتِ
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever performs ghusl on Friday and performs the best ghusl, or he performs wudu and does it well, then wears his best clothes and applies the perfume given by Allah or uses the oil prepared by his family, and does not separate two people sitting together, then the sins committed between this Friday and the previous Friday are forgiven." Janab Bundar says that I heard this narration from the mouth of my respected teacher through his father. Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I do not know of any narrator who has followed Janab Bundar in this narration. And even an expert horseman sometimes makes a mistake.
