Hadith 1804
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ الْقَيْسِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَبَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا تَكَلَّمْتَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَدْ لَغَوْتَ , وَأُلْغِيَتْ " . يَعْنِي وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: "When you speak on the day of Jumu'ah while the Imam is delivering the sermon, then you have engaged in idle talk and wasted your reward."
