Hadith 1768
حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ أَبُو هَاشِمٍ ، نا مُبَشِّرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الْمُسْتَعْجِلُ إِلَى الصَّلاةِ كَالْمُهْدِي بَدَنَةً , وَالَّذِي يَلِيهِ كَالْمُهْدِي بَقَرَةً , وَالَّذِي يَلِيهِ كَالْمُهْدِي شَاةً , وَالَّذِي يَلِيهِ كَالْمُهْدِي طَيْرًا "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The one who goes early for the (Friday) prayer is rewarded like the one who offers a camel as a sacrifice. The one who comes after him receives a reward equal to that of one who offers a cow as a sacrifice. The one who comes after him receives a reward like that of one who offers a goat as a sacrifice, and the one who comes after him receives a reward equal to that of one who offers a bird (chicken) as a sacrifice."
