Hadith 1761
نا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبٍ الْحَارِثِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ دِينَارٍ يُحَدِّثُ , عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " حَقٌّ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ كُلَّ سَبْعَةِ أَيَّامٍ , وَأَنْ يَمَسَّ طِيبًا إِنْ وَجَدَهُ "
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "It is obligatory upon every Muslim to perform ghusl after seven days — and if he has perfume, he should apply it."
