Hadith 1733
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ بْنِ كُرَيْبٍ ، نا حُسَيْنٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَلِيٍّ الْجُعْفِيَّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ ، عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ مِنْ أَفْضَلِ أَيَّامِكُمْ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ , فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدَمُ , وَفِيهِ قُبِضَ , وَفِيهِ النَّفْخَةُ , وَفِيهِ الصَّعْقَةُ , فَأَكْثِرُوا عَلَيَّ مِنَ الصَّلاةِ فِيهِ , فَإِنَّ صَلاتَكُمْ مَعْرُوضَةٌ عَلَيَّ " . قَالُوا : وَكَيْفَ تُعْرَضُ صَلاتُنَا عَلَيْكَ وَقَدْ أَرِمْتَ ؟ ! فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَرَّمَ عَلَى الأَرْضِ أَنْ تَأْكُلَ أَجْسَادَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ "
Sayyiduna Aws bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "Among your best and most exalted days is the day of Friday. On this day, Adam (peace be upon him) was created, and on this day he passed away, and on this day the trumpet will be blown, and on this day (people) will fall unconscious. So send abundant blessings upon me on this day, for your blessings are presented to me." The Companions asked, "How will our blessings be presented to you when your blessed body will have decayed?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has forbidden the earth to consume the bodies of the Prophets."
Hadith 1734
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ , وَقَالَ : يَعْنُونَ : قَدْ بَلِيتَ
Imam Sahib narrates from his teacher Muhammad bin Rafi' with his chain of transmission that the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) meant that the blessed body of the Prophet (peace be upon him) would have perished in the earth.
