1 hadith
Hadith 1717
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to lead the people in the lightest yet complete prayer. Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I performed prayers with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). As soon as he finished the prayer with salam, he would get up and leave. Then I performed prayers with Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), and when he finished the prayer with salam, he would jump up from his place as if he had risen from a hot stone. Janab Ali bin Abdur Rahman did not mention these words that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to lead the people in the lightest and shortest prayer. Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that this hadith is gharib; no narrator reports it except Abdullah bin Farukh.
