Hadith 1656
نا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، نا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " كُنَّا إِذَا كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَكَانَتْ لَيْلَةٌ ظَلْمَاءُ أَوْ لَيْلَةٌ مَطِيرَةٌ أَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَوْ نَادَى : مُنَادِيهِ : أَنْ صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ "
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that when we were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on a journey and the night was dark or it was raining, the Messenger of Allah’s (peace and blessings be upon him) mu’adhdhin would give the adhan or a caller would announce — « أَن صَلُّوا فِيْ رِحَالِكُمْ » “Pray in your dwellings and tents.”
وَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ بَارِدَةً، وَلَا مَطِيرَةً بِمِثْلِ اللَّفْظِ الَّذِي ذَكَرْتُ فِي الْبَابِ قَبْلُ.
And if it is neither cold nor rainy, with the same wording that I mentioned in the previous chapter.
Hadith 1656
وَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ بَارِدَةً، وَلَا مَطِيرَةً بِمِثْلِ اللَّفْظِ الَّذِي ذَكَرْتُ فِي الْبَابِ قَبْلُ.
And if it is neither cold nor rainy, with the same wording that I mentioned in the previous chapter.
