(143) بَابُ وَضْعِ الْإِمَامِ نَعْلَيْهِ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ.
143| Chapter on the imam placing his sandals to his left
Hadith 1649
نا بُنْدَارٌ ، نا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، قَالَ : " حَضَرْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ ، فَصَلَّى الصُّبْحَ ، فَخَلَعَ نَعْلَيْهِ ، فَوَضَعَهُمَا عَنْ يَسَارِهِ "
Hazrat Abdullah bin Sa’ib says that in the year of the conquest of Makkah, I presented myself before the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) performed the morning prayer, then removed his shoes and placed them on his left side.
