(93) بَابُ ذِكْرِ مَا كَانَ اللَّهُ- عَزَّ وَجَلَّ- خَصَّ نَبِيَّهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالتَّأْمِينِ
93| What Allah has favored His Prophet (ﷺ) with regarding "Ameen"
Hadith Q1586
فَلَمْ يُعْطِهِ أَحَدًا مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ قَبْلَهُ، خَلَا هَارُونَ حِينَ دَعَا مُوسَى، فَأَمَّنَ هَارُونُ، إِنْ ثَبَتَ الْخَبَرُ.
This characteristic was not granted to any prophet before you. It was only granted to Hazrat Harun (peace be upon him) when Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him) made supplication and Hazrat Harun (peace be upon him) said Ameen. Provided that the narration reported in this regard is authentic.
Hadith 1586
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ الْقَيْسِيُّ ، نا أَبُو عَامِرٍ ، وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ أَيْضًا ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرَمِيُّ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ ، عَنْ زَرْبِيٍّ مَوْلًى لآلِ الْمُهَلَّبِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، يَقُولُ : كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جُلُوسًا ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَعْطَانِي خِصَالا ثَلاثَةً " ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ جُلَسَائِهِ : وَمَا هَذِهِ الْخِصَالُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " أَعْطَانِي صَلاةً فِي الصُّفُوفِ ، وَأَعْطَانِي التَّحِيَّةَ ، إِنَّهَا لَتَحِيَّةُ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ، وَأَعْطَانِي التَّأْمِينَ ، وَلَمْ يُعْطِهِ أَحَدًا مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ قَبْلُ ، إِلا أَنْ يَكُونَ اللَّهُ أَعْطَى هَارُونَ ، يَدْعُو مُوسَى وَيُؤَمِّنُ هَارُونُ "
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that we were present in the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when he said: "Indeed, Allah the Exalted has granted me three special things." One of those present in the gathering asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what are those things?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah the Exalted has granted me the prayer in rows, and has bestowed upon me the greeting of peace, and indeed it is the gift and greeting of the people of Paradise. And He has granted me 'Ameen.' No prophet before me was given this, except for Harun (peace be upon him), to whom Allah the Exalted granted 'Ameen.' Musa (peace be upon him) would supplicate, and Harun (peace be upon him) would say 'Ameen.'"
