جماع أبواب قيام المأمومين خلف الإمام وما فيه من السننChapters on Followers Standing Behind the Imam
(89) بَابُ تَأْمِينِ الْمَأْمُومِ عِنْدَ فَرَاغِ الْإِمَامِ مِنْ قِرَاءَةِ فَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ الَّتِي يَجْهَرُ فِيهَا الْإِمَامُ بِالْقِرَاءَةِ، وَإِنْ نَسِيَ إِمَامٌ وَجَهِلَ، وَلَمْ يُؤَمِّنْ.
89| The follower saying "Ameen" after the imam finishes reciting Al-Fatiha in prayers where the imam recites aloud, even if the imam forgets or does not say it
Hadith 1582
نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعَلِّمُنَا ، يَقُولُ : " إِذَا كَبَّرَ الإِمَامُ فَكَبِّرُوا ، وَإِذَا قَرَأَ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلا الضَّالِّينَ ، فَقُولُوا : آمِينَ "
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), while teaching us (about prayer), used to say: "When the imam says the takbir, you should also say the takbir, and when he recites « غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ », you should say Ameen."
