جماع أبواب قيام المأمومين خلف الإمام وما فيه من السننChapters on Followers Standing Behind the Imam
(83) بَابُ الزَّجْرِ عَنْ مُبَادَرَةِ الْمَأْمُومِ الْإِمَامَ بِالتَّكْبِيرِ، وَالرُّكُوعِ، وَالسُّجُودِ.
83| Warning against the follower preceding the imam in takbir, bowing, and prostration
Hadith 1576
نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عِيسَى ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعَلِّمُنَا يَقُولُ : " لا تُبَادِرُوا الإِمَامَ ، إِذَا كَبَّرَ الإِمَامُ فَكَبِّرُوا ، وَإِذَا رَكَعَ فَارْكَعُوا ، وَإِذَا قَالَ : غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلا الضَّالِّينَ ، فَقُولُوا : آمِينَ ، وَإِذَا قَالَ : سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ ، فَقُولُوا : اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ ، وَلا تُبَادِرُوا الإِمَامَ الرُّكُوعَ وَالسُّجُودَ "
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), while teaching us, used to say: "Do not precede or hasten before the Imam in any action. When the Imam says the takbir, then you also say the takbir; when he bows (for ruku‘), then you also bow; and when he recites « غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِيّنَ », then you say Ameen; and when he says « سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ », then you say « رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الحَمْدُ »; and do not hasten before the Imam in ruku‘ and sujud."
