(69) بَابُ ذِكْرِ صَلَاةِ الرَّبِّ عَلَى الصُّفُوفِ الْأُوَلِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ.
69| Allah's blessings on the front rows and His angels
Hadith 1557
نا أَبُو هَاشِمٍ زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَشْعَثُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زُبَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ جَدِّي ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْسَجَةَ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْتِي نَاحِيَةَ الصَّفِّ وَيُسَوِّي بَيْنَ صُدُورِ الْقَوْمِ وَمَنَاكِبِهِمْ ، وَيَقُولُ : " لا تَخْتَلِفُوا فَتَخْتَلِفَ قُلُوبُكُمْ ، إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى الصُّفُوفِ الأُوَلِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him). He says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would come to one side of the row and straighten the chests and shoulders of the worshippers and would say: "Do not differ among yourselves, lest your hearts also differ. Surely, Allah Almighty and His angels send blessings upon the first rows."
