جماع أبواب قيام المأمومين خلف الإمام وما فيه من السننChapters on Followers Standing Behind the Imam
(60) بَابُ الْأَمْرِ بِالْمُحَاذَاةِ بَيْنَ الْمَنَاكِبِ وَالْأَعْنَاقِ فِي الصَّفِّ.
60| Command to align shoulders and necks in the row
Hadith 1545
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرِ بْنِ رِبْعِيٍّ الْقَيْسِيُّ ، نا مُسْلِمٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، نا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعَطَّارُ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " رُصُّوا صُفُوفَكُمْ ، وَقَارِبُوا بَيْنَهَا ، وَحَاذُوا بِالأَعْنَاقِ ، فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ إِنِّي لأَرَى الشَّيْطَانَ يَدْخُلُ مِنْ خِلَلِ الصَّفِّ كَأَنَّهَا الْحَذَفُ " . قَالَ مُسْلِمٌ : يَعْنِي النَّقَدَ الصِّغَارَ ، النَّقَدُ الصِّغَارُ : أَوْلادُ الْغَنَمِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Join your rows well and keep the rows close together and align your necks. By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, indeed I see that Satan enters through the gaps in the rows as if he were a small goat." Janab Muslim bin Ibrahim says that "al-khadhaf" means a small goat.
