Hadith 1528
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The imam is responsible (for the prayer) and the muezzin is entrusted (with the correct time of the call to prayer). «اَرْشَدَ اللهُ الأ ئِمّةَ ، وَغَفَرَ لِلْمَؤَذِّنِيْنَ» O Allah, grant guidance and righteousness to the imams and forgiveness to the muezzins." This is the narration of Ashajj. Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that this narration has been reported by Ibn Numayr from A‘mash, and he has corrupted this narration.

Hadith 1530

Hadith 1531
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The muezzins are trustworthy and the imams are guarantors. «اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمَؤَذِّنِيْنَ ، وَسَدِّدِ اْلأ ئِمّةَ» O Allah, forgive the muezzins and guide the imams to the right path." He supplicated three times. These are the words of the narration of Ali bin Hujr, and the words of the narration of Husain bin Hasan are: «اَرْشَدَ اللهُ الأ ئِمّةَ ، وَغَفَرَ لِلْمَؤَذِّنِيْنَ» "May Allah grant the imams guidance and forgive the muezzins." This narration has been reported by Muhammad bin Abi Salih from his father Salih, from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her).
Hadith 1532
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: «وَعَفَا عَنِ الْمَؤَذِّن» "May Allah forgive the muezzin." Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that the narrator A’mash is superior in memory and accuracy to more than two hundred narrators like Muhammad bin Abi Salih.
