(4) بَابُ ذِكْرِ اجْتِمَاعِ مَلَائِكَةِ اللَّيْلِ وَمَلَائِكَةِ النَّهَارِ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ
4| Angels of the night and day gathering at Fajr prayer
Hadith 1474
نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ السَّعْدِيُّ بِخَبَرٍ غَرِيبٍ ، نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي قَوْلِهِ إِنَّ قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ كَانَ مَشْهُودًا سورة الإسراء آية 78 قَالَ : " تَشْهَدُ مَلائِكَةُ اللَّيْلِ وَمَلائِكَةُ النَّهَارِ مُجْتَمِعًا فِيهَا " . قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : أَمْلَيْتُ فِي أَوَّلِ كِتَابِ الصَّلاةِ ، ذِكْرَ اجْتِمَاعِ مَلائِكَةِ اللَّيْلِ وَمَلائِكَةِ النَّهَارِ فِي صَلاةِ الْفَجْرِ وَصَلاةِ الْعَصْرِ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah and Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with them) narrate from the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) regarding Allah Almighty's statement « إِنَّ قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ كَانَ مَشْهُودًا » (Surah Al-Isra: 78) "Indeed, the dawn prayer is attended (by angels)." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "At this prayer, the angels of the night and the angels of the day gather together." Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I have recorded at the beginning of the Book of Prayer the narration regarding the gathering of the angels of the day and night at the Fajr and Asr prayers.
