(698) بَابُ قِرَاءَةِ الْقُرْآنِ فِي الْخُطْبَةِ، وَالِاقْتِصَادِ فِي الْخُطْبَةِ، وَالصَّلَاةِ جَمِيعًا
698| Reciting Quran in the sermon, brevity in the sermon and prayer together
Hadith 1448
نَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَسَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ الْحَسَنُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ " يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا ، وَيَجْلِسُ بَيْنَ الْخُطْبَتَيْنِ وَيَتْلُو آيَةً مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ ، وَكَانَتْ خُطْبَتُهُ قَصْدًا ، وَصَلاتُهُ قَصْدًا " ، غَيْرَ أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ ، قَالَ : وَكَانَ يَتْلُو عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ آيَةً مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah رضي الله عنه that the Noble Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم used to deliver the sermon while standing, and he صلى الله عليه وسلم would sit between the two sermons. Also, he صلى الله عليه وسلم would recite verses from the Noble Qur’an during the sermon, and his sermon used to be moderate, and his prayer was also moderate. In the narration of Janab Hasan, it is mentioned that he صلى الله عليه وسلم used to recite verses from the Noble Qur’an on the pulpit during the sermon.
