(692) بَابُ اسْتِقْبَالِ الْإِمَامِ النَّاسَ لِلْخُطْبَةِ بَعْدَ الْفَرَاغِ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ
692| The imam facing the people for the sermon after the prayer
Hadith 1442
قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : فِي خَبَرِ دَاوُدَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ عِيَاضٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " فَإِذَا قَضَى صَلاتَهُ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَامَ فَأَقْبَلَ عَلَى النَّاسِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : خَرَّجْتُهُ بِتَمَامِهِ بَعْدُ
Imam Abu Bakr, may Allah have mercy on him, says that in the narration of Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id, may Allah be pleased with him, from the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when he, peace and blessings be upon him, completed the prayer and said the salam, he, peace and blessings be upon him, stood up and turned towards the people. Imam Abu Bakr, may Allah have mercy on him, says that I have later narrated this narration in full.
