(689) بَابُ عَدَدِ التَّكْبِيرِ فِي صَلَاةِ الْعِيدَيْنِ فِي الْقِيَامِ قَبْلَ الرُّكُوعِ
689| Number of takbirs in the Eid prayer before bowing
Hadith 1438
نَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ كَثِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَبَّرَ فِي الأَضْحَى سَبْعًا وَخَمْسًا ، وَفِي الْفِطْرِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amr bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) that he reports: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say seven takbirs before the recitation in the first rak'ah of the Eid prayer, and five takbirs before the recitation in the second rak'ah.
