(676) بَابُ تَرْكِ الْإِمَامِ الْعَوْدَ لِلْخُرُوجِ لِصَلَاةِ الِاسْتِسْقَاءِ ثَانِيًا إِذَا سُقُوا فِي أَوَّلِ مَرَّةٍ اسْتَسْقَوْا
676| The imam not going out again for rain prayer if rain comes after the first time
Hadith 1424
نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، نَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبَّادُ بْنُ تَمِيمٍ ، أَنَّ عَمَّهُ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبَرَهُ " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ بِالنَّاسِ إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى يَسْتَسْقِي لَهُمْ ، فَقَامَ فَدَعَا قَائِمًا ، ثُمَّ تَوَجَّهَ قِبَلَ الْقِبْلَةِ وَحَوَّلَ رِدَاءَهُ فَأُسْقُوا " . قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : لَيْسَ فِي شَيْءٍ مِنَ الأَخْبَارِ أَعْلَمُهُ " فَأُسْقُوا " إِلا فِي خَبَرِ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ
Hazrat ‘Abbad bin Tamim narrates from his uncle, who is a companion, that he states: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) went out with the people to the Eid ground to pray for rain. He (peace be upon him) stood and supplicated, then turned towards the Qiblah and turned his cloak inside out, so the people were granted rain. Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says: To my knowledge, apart from the narration of Shu‘aib bin Abi Hamzah, the words “fa suqū” (they were given rain) are not found in any other narration.
