Hadith 1416
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that due to famine, weeping women came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). So the Prophet (peace be upon him) made this supplication « اللَٰهُمَّ اسْقِنَا غَيْثًا مُغِيثًا، مَرِيئًا مُرِيعًا، عَاجِلًا غَيْرَ آجِلٍ، نَافِعًا غَيْرَ ضَارَّ »: "O Allah, grant us rain that will be helpful and supportive for us, pleasant, bringing greenery and prosperity, coming quickly and not delayed, beneficial and not harmful." Therefore, a heavy rain fell upon them.
Hadith 1417
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) supplicated « اللَٰهُمَّ اسْقِنَا » "O Allah, grant us water to drink."
