(643) بَابُ تَطْوِيلِ الْقِرَاءَةِ فِي الْقِيَامِ الْأَوَّلِ وَالتَّقْصِيرِ فِي الْقِرَاءَةِ فِي الْقِيَامِ الثَّانِي عَنِ الْأَوَّلِ
643| Prolonging the recitation in the first standing and shortening it in the second compared to the first in the eclipse prayer
Hadith 1378
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ ، نَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " رَكِبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرْكَبًا لَهُ قَرِيبًا ، فَلَمْ يَأْتِ حَتَّى كَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ ، فَخَرَجْتُ فِي نِسْوَةٍ فَكُنَّا بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْحُجْرَةِ ، فَجَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ مَرْكَبِهِ سَرِيعًا ، وَقَامَ مَقَامَهُ الَّذِي كَانَ يُصَلِّي ، وَقَامَ النَّاسُ وَرَاءَهُ ، فَكَبَّرَ ، وَقَامَ قِيَامًا طَوِيلا ، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ رُكُوعًا طَوِيلا ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَأَطَالَ الْقِيَامَ ، وَهُوَ دُونَ الْقِيَامِ الأَوَّلِ ، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ فَأَطَالَ الرُّكُوعَ ، وَهُوَ دُونَ الرُّكُوعِ الأَوَّلِ ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ فَأَطَالَ السُّجُودِ ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ ، ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سُجُودًا دُونَ السُّجُودِ الأَوَّلِ ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَأَطَالَ الْقِيَامَ ، وَهُوَ دُونَ الْقِيَامِ الأَوَّلِ ، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ فَأَطَالَ الرُّكُوعَ ، وَهُوَ دُونَ الرُّكُوعِ الأَوَّلِ ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ فَقَامَ فَأَطَالَ الْقِيَامَ ، وَهُوَ دُونَ الْقِيَامِ الأَوَّلِ ، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ فَأَطَالَ الرُّكُوعَ ، وَهُوَ دُونَ الرُّكُوعِ الأَوَّلِ ، ثُمَّ سَجَدَ ، وَانْصَرَفَ ، فَكَانَتْ صَلاتُهُ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ فِي أَرْبَعِ سَجَدَاتٍ ، فَجَلَسَ ، وَقَدْ تَجَلَّتِ الشَّمْسُ " . نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ مِثْلَهُ
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) rode on his mount and went to a nearby place. Before he returned, the sun was eclipsed. I went outside with a few women, and (at that time) we were in front of the chamber when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came quickly, dismounted from his mount, and stood at the place where he led the prayer. The people also stood behind him, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said « اللهُ أَكْبَرُ » (and began the prayer). He performed a very long standing, then a long bowing, then raised his head, then he stood for a long standing which was shorter than the first standing. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) bowed, and it was a long bowing but shorter than the first bowing. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his blessed head, then he prostrated, and it was a very long prostration. Then he raised his head from prostration, then performed a prostration shorter than the first one. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up, and he performed a long standing which was shorter than the previous standing. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) bowed, a long bowing, and it was shorter than the previous bowing. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his blessed head and stood for a long standing, but it was shorter than the previous standing. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) bowed, a long bowing, but it was shorter than the previous bowing. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the prostrations and completed the prayer, thus there were four bowings and four prostrations in the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sat down, and by that time the sun had become bright.
