(641) بَابُ النِّدَاءِ بِأَنَّ الصَّلَاةَ جَامِعَةٌ فِي الْكُسُوفِ
641| Announcing "the prayer is gathering" during the eclipse
Hadith Q1375
وَالدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنْ لَا أَذَانَ وَلَا إِقَامَةَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْكُسُوفِ.
And the explanation of the evidence that there is neither adhan nor iqamah for the solar eclipse prayer.
Hadith 1375
نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو إِنَّهُ لَمَّا كَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نُودِيَ أَنَّ الصَّلاةَ جَامِعَةً " ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ . قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : وَهَكَذَا رَوَاهُ مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ سَلامٍ أَيْضًا ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that when there was a solar eclipse during the blessed era of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), it was announced: "Indeed, the congregational prayer (is ready), come for it." Then the complete hadith was narrated. Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that in the same way, this narration has also been reported by Muawiyah bin Salam from Sayyiduna Abu Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him).
Hadith 1376
وَرَوَاهُ الْحَجَّاجُ الصَّوَّافُ قَالَ : ثنا يَحْيَى ، ثنا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، ثناهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ الأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ الصَّوَّافِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ يَحْيَى ، يَقُولُ : حَجَّاجٌ الصَّوَّافُ مَتِينٌ ، يُرِيدُ أَنَّهُ ثِقَةٌ حَافِظٌ
The Imam has narrated the chain of transmission of Hajjaj al-Sawwaf. The Imam says that I heard Muhammad bin Yahya saying that Hajjaj al-Sawwaf is trustworthy and a hafiz (memorizer of hadith).
