(600) بَابُ حَكِّ النُّخَامَةِ مِنْ قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ
The chapter on scraping off phlegm from the qiblah of the mosque
Hadith 1315
نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ بْنِ كُرَيْبٍ ، نَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ ، نَا وَكِيعٌ كِلاهُمَا ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " حَكَّ بُزَاقًا فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ " . وَقَالَ أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ : " حَكَّ مِنَ الْقِبْلَةِ بُصَاقًا أَوْ نُخَامًا أَوْ مُخَاطًا "
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) rubbed and cleaned the spittle stuck to the qiblah side of the mosque. In the narration of Abu Kuraib, it is mentioned that the Prophet (peace be upon him) scraped and cleaned spittle, nasal discharge, or phlegm from the direction of the qiblah.
