(584) بَابُ الْأَمْرِ بِبِنَاءِ الْمَسَاجِدِ فِي الدُّورِ
The chapter on the command to build mosques in neighborhoods
Hadith 1294
نَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بِشْرِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ ، نَا مَالِكُ بْنُ سُعَيْرِ بْنِ الْخِمْسِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَمَرَ بِبِنَاءِ الْمَسْجِدِ فِي الدُّورِ "
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) ordered the construction of mosques in neighborhoods.
