Hadith 1120
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any one of you has performed the two Sunnah (units) of Fajr, he should lie down on his right side." So Marwan bin Hakam said to Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): "Is it not sufficient for any one of us to walk towards the mosque until he lies down (after offering the Sunnah)?" This statement reached Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), so he said: "Abu Hurairah narrates many ahadith to us." It was said to him: "Do you deny what he is narrating?" He replied: "No, but he was bold in narrating many ahadith, and we remained cautious." When this statement reached Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: "What is my fault if I remembered (the sayings of the Prophet) and they forgot?"
Hadith 1121
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that I went to visit my maternal aunt and I coincided with the night of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) (meaning that this night the Prophet (peace be upon him) was at my aunt's house). Then he narrated the hadith further and said that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed two rak'ahs (Sunnah), then he lay down until I heard his snoring. Then the iqamah for prayer was given, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) went out and led the prayer.
